My name is Tanya Voltchanskaya – it’s ok, most people don’t know how to pronounce my last name.

A people watcher, listener of music of the indie-rock persuasion, dog lover and a (concerningly obsessive) plant collector. Awkward yet empathetic. Sarcastic yet compassionate. Obsessed with catching the buzz of the celebrations of life.

Starting off and still dabbling in music photography, I love working with creative, unconventional individuals that march to the beat of their own drum. That celebrate the way they want to. That don’t take themselves seriously. That are cool with getting their shoes dirty.

In the middle of a moody forest with no phone reception, in a tiny backyard, on top of a mountain or a massive warehouse party – Travel does not limit me.

On the day I’ve been referred to like another guest present. I’m chill, unobtrusive, observing the day as it unfolds. The biggest reward for me is to be able to capture the feeling of your day that you can re-live over and over again.

I’m less about posing you in the same bit of scenery that’s been done a thousand times before – I am all about documenting the feels and energy of the day – the reality and weird uniqueness of YOU.
