 Mallorca Wedding by Pablo Beglez

“I’m an islander and as such, being able to work as a wedding photographer in another dreamy island it feels like home. Mallorca makes me feel that peaceful and familiar longing.

The event took place in an incredible private country house, Niu de Voltor, with breathtaking views to the mountains and to the blue skyline.

I have a weak spot for jews ceremonies such as this one. In them, you can feel a special atmosphere and in this case, it wasn’t any different. It was outdoors, with an altar that had the beautiful blue background that I was talking about.

And speaking of beauties, Erika’s with her exotic features and Jonathan’s British elegance. And a beauty that is not only on the outside but also the inside. They’re a powerful combination. Almost as intense as the party was. Since the beginning of the banquet, people entered dancing and having a great time. It was without any doubt one of the funniest weddings I have ever been to. Besides, the place had a greenhouse that has been transformed into a kind of English pub very smart and funny. They even invited a famous London DJ to play some music that cheered up the people even more.

I want to say thank you to the amazing work Mille Papillons put into organizing everything and helping me whenever I needed it.

“Hey Shelby! Tell us a little bit about this couple and your session.”

“Meredith & Josh found me through a mutual friend, and from the first moments we met I just knew their wedding day was going to be incredible. We met on Fort Mountain in Georgia for their engagement session, and it started pouring as soon as we got there. But Meredith & Josh didn’t mind a bit, and we got some of my favorite engagement photos to date.

The fog rolling through the mountain hills and how carefree this couple was about being out in the rain and just loving on one another – it was a beautiful day then, and little did I know that it would set the stage for some of the most incredible weather on their wedding day!

When my second shooter and I arrived at Vogel State Park after and awe-inspiring drive through the curvy mountains roads, where autumn was absolutely peaking at every turn, it began to downpour. We were slightly discouraged, but still hopeful for a break in time for pictures. We went up to see Meredith to begin getting her ready, and she was just as chill and happy as ever. It was currently pouring on her wedding day and she told me she was just excited to marry Josh. Best. Bride. Ever!

So we make a break for the first look location (scenic photo attached) and the rain stops! Josh is waiting for his bride out on the bridge and as I am walking towards him I encounter this absolutely breathtaking foggy, lake view filled with autumn colors and rolling mountains. I was quite literally jumping up and down and smiling so big at what a turn this day took.

Their first look was so entirely beautiful with how sweetly Meredith & Josh love one another. The fog continued to rolling across our backdrop as I continued to snap away in utter bliss at the scene!

After the couple portraits, I pulled Meredith aside for some bridals portraits, and that is when we were struck with even more magic. The sun, out of nowhere, came out and created this ethereal lighting that blew my mind even more. I just couldn’t get over all that was happening – it was some of the most amazing weather I had seen in a long time. The ceremony site was on the opposite side of the lake we were currently on, and we couldn’t see too much because of the fog on our end. However, all the guests waiting at the site said there was a rainbow that shone brightly just over the ceremony site for a short period.

We all left that night with happy hearts as we watched the full moon rise over the lake. It was absolutely one of my favorite weddings to date, obviously because of all the incredible weather we got, but truly even more so how Meredith & Josh we so happy just to love and be with one another – no matter how bad the weather looked in the beginning! I kept telling them how they were so rewarded because of who they are together. It was a blessed day for sure!”

“Hey Christian! Tell us a little bit about this couple and your session.”

Rebecca and Cory found me via Instagram and instantly felt a strong connection to my work! Within a week they had hired me to photograph their engagement session in North Carolina, where we live, and to travel with them to California to photograph their intimate wedding in Yosemite National Park!

They chose to have an intimate destination wedding in Yosemite in order to keep the focus of their union on their love and sense of adventure! They were joined by 19 of their closest friends and family members and it couldn’t have been more perfect! They held their ceremony at Glacier Point, overlooking Yosemite Valley, on a Thursday afternoon!

We spent the rest of the day adventuring around Taft Point and the valley! Their sense of carefree love and joyful spirits made this day feel like a dream, being in Yosemite was complete icing on the cake!

We woke the following morning before the sun and made our way back to Glacier Point for a sunrise session! It was ultimately peaceful and massively beautiful! We then drove back down to the valley to play and shoot in the Merced River before saying our goodbyes

On the way down, we caught a SECOND SUNRISE over the ridge while at Tunnel View Overlook! We were in complete awe! Shooting this elopement was a dream for my business and it couldn’t have been more perfect!”
