We had such a great time celebrating with Becca + Mike and photographing their beautiful Minnesota wedding! I met Becca + Mike about a year and a half ago through Instagram. Minnesota Here We Come!

So I boarded a plane and left the scorching temps of the Arizona desert and headed to the small town of Cushing Minnesota. I have to say, taking a break from 100+ temps to spend some time in the ’70s, no complaints from me! Becca + Mike could not have chosen a more perfect venue for their Minnesota wedding at The Barn at Stoney Hills. This venue is AMAZING! Nestled in the woods of Cushing Minnesota, The timber-framed barn hasn’t left one detail out! The landscape, the rustic scenery, the upscale vibe set in the rolling hills of Minnesota, are second to none!

Minnesota Wedding // Next stop – Midwest. Our LOOKSLIKEFILM member Sarah Ascanio photographed this beautiful wedding of Katherine and Stephanie in St. Paul, MN.

Sarah Ascanio: “Katie + Steph’s day started out as a chilly overcast day in October, perfection for the intimate celebration they had planned. Nothing but love filled every room for them, and it was a really beautiful thing to observe and experience. From the moment we met them, we were in love with who they were as individuals and how they love each other. It was no surprise that their friends and family were just as kind and wonderful as they are.

The gorgeous details were intentional and thoughtfully carried out. It was important to them to create a warm, romantic atmosphere and it perfectly matched the adjectives I would use to describe their relationship.  Steph previously worked for Aqua in White Bear Lake and having them there added an incredibly personal element that made the evening all the more special.

We’ve got so much love for these two, and above all, we are beyond thrilled to have gained them as lifelong friends. So much so that we asked them to be our beloved pup’s godparents. Haha”
