“Theresa and Kris are the perfect couple: passionate, fun, easygoing, and laid back. When I saw the chemistry and connection they shared, I knew that I wanted to capture their unique story of gentle touches and intimate hugs in the place where they feel most themselves: at home. It’s always such an honor to be invited into a couple’s house because that’s where they feel safe, where they cry and laugh, and where they can their personalities shine through.

An Intimate Love Story at Home

The resulting photos are an emotionally-charged feast for the eyes. The setting allowed me to capture them as they exchanged an honest conversation about love with their eyes, bodies, and gestures. The photos reflect the course of how they truly are when away from the gaze of the camera. Natural, in love, and at ease.

What photography means to me

This shoot reminds me that the best photographers are those who reach beyond the lens and touch people’s lives and hearts. I think one of my favorite things about my job is all the relationships I’ve built throughout my career. I stay in touch with most of my clients, some of whom become friends, and that turns a photoshoot into something that lasts a lifetime.”
